June 18, 2019 - Kia Canada Inc. is proud to share that the 8th annual Vincentric Best Value in Canada award winner in the Electric/Plug-In Hybrid segment is the 2019 Kia Soul EV.
"The Kia Soul EV was honoured with its fourth Vincentric Best Value in Canada award in the Electric/Plug-In Hybrid segment," said Vincentric President, David Wurster."
"Outperforming 10 competitor models, the Soul EV delivered the Best Value in Canada with the lowest maintenance costs, operating costs, and overall lowest total ownership costs in its class."
The Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards are model specific honours that determine the best value in each segment. Value is determined using a statistical analysis that incorporates the current market price and total cost of ownership of all 2019 model year vehicles. This is the fourth time that the Kia Soul EV has received this honour.
In addition to Best Value award for Soul EV, it was also recognized as having the Lowest Cost to Own in Canada, as were the Kia Niro (Hybrid SUV/Crossover segment), Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid (Electric/Plug-In Hybrid SUV/Crossover segment) and Kia Sedona (Minivan segment).
"We're very proud to see the Soul EV recognized again for the high value that it brings to the market," said Elias El-Achhab, Chief Operating Officer & Vice President, Kia Canada Inc. "Winning for the fourth time is a testament to the efforts that Kia puts into ensuring that all vehicles provide consumers with the power to surprise; and with the new 2020 Kia Soul EV arriving with even more technology and a new long range battery, we're aiming to win for a fifth time next year."
Kia Canada has recently become one of the industry's only brands to offer two distinct electric models - the all-new 2019 Kia Niro EV and 2020 Kia Soul EV. Both the 2019 Kia Niro EV and 2020 Kia Soul EV boast real-world design, utility and driving dynamics and are available with a brand new long-range battery that will deliver 383 kilometres of range or more, providing sufficient range for most driving needs.
